NEH Regional Application-Writing Workshop

The UB Humanities Institute is pleased to host a Regional Application-Writing Workshop conducted by Dr. Daniel Sack, Senior Program Officer, from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
We are honored to have Congressman Brian Higgins of the U.S. House of Representatives joining us for the 4:30 PM post-workshop reception, with an introduction by Robin Schultze, Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.
Application-Writing Workshop
Friday, February 24, 2017, 1:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: 112 Center for the Arts (Screening Room) – UB North Campus
This event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
The workshop will cover:
- Overview of NEH programs and special initiatives;
- Strategies for proposal writing;
- A mock panel review session;
- Question-and-answer period.
A coffee break will be included and a post-workshop reception will be held in the Center for the Arts Atrium.
One-on-One Meetings
Dr. Sack will be available for a limited number of one-on-one sessions to discuss specific projects. These session are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are by-appointment only (see details below).

Thursday, February 23rd
Time: 1 PM – 5 PM
Location: Center for the Arts – Center Suite (Room B51)
20 min. one-on-one meetings by prior reservation/appointment (UB community prioritized)
Friday, February 24th
Time: 9 AM – 12 PM
Location: Center for the Arts – Room 117
20 min. one-on-one meetings by prior reservation/appointment (non-UB participants prioritized)
