Join Humanities New York at the Cheektowaga Senior Center for this free grants workshop featuring an information session, activity, and ample time for networking and Q&A. Learn about Humanities New York’s opportunities and get tips about how to prepare a competitive application.

The second half of the workshop will feature a program-design activity. Participants will work in small groups to brainstorm project ideas. Please come prepared to discuss a potential proposal. Projects that relate to the women’s suffrage centennial are encouraged, but all public-facing projects are welcome.

Representatives from any community or cultural organization are welcome to attend—especially new grant-writers and first time applicants! Light refreshments will be provided.
