Haundenosaunee/Native American Studies Research Group: Book Celebration: Dr. Susan Hill’s, The Clay We Are Made Of: Haudenosaunee Land Tenure On The Grand River

Please join us on Wednesday, October 25th for the UB launch of Dr. Susan Hill’s new book, The Clay We Are Made Of: Haudenosaunee Land Tenure On The Grand River (University of Manitoba Press, 2017). Our celebration will take place from 6:30-8:30pm at The Center for Tomorrow in the Main Ballroom, UB North Campus (located at the corner of Maple and Flint Rd).
Dr. Susan Hill (Six Nations Mohawk, Wolf clan) is an alum of UB’s American Studies program and a beloved former graduate student of the late John Mohawk and the late Barry White. She is currently the Director of the Center for Indigenous Studies and Associate Professor of Indigenous Studies and History at the University of Toronto. Dr. Hill was recently featured in an article in Indian Country Today, “Looking for True History of Native Peoples? Five Indigenous Women Who Get It Right.”
