Elizabeth’s creative research interests include the embodied art of acting and somatic approaches to actor training, devising original theatre with a focus on collaborative ensemble works and adaptations, pedagogy, the Meisner technique, on-camera acting, and cross-disciplinary exchange. She teaches in the Physical Theatre Intensive at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NYC), and has taught at The Atlantic School, The Ted Bardy Studio, and AMDA in NYC.

Elizabeth has been an original cast member of the Broadway productions Teddy & Alice, Dangerous Games and Victor/Victoria. Her most recent roles include Sister Aloysius in Doubt, Rebecca in Ashes to Ashes, and Sonya in Afterplay. She has appeared in close to 100 TV commercials, has performed in dozens of on-camera and live business theatre productions and has worked as a voice-over artist. Elizabeth is a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, and AGVA.

Elizabeth’s latest directing credits include Dancing at Lughnasa, A Chorus Line, and Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone at Binghamton University, along with the original works she co-created and conceived Preemptive Strike (Binghamton), The Crow (PA), and A Place at The Table (NYC). Elizabeth is the founding Artistic Director of the movement theatre company Theatre in the Flesh.

Elizabeth received her BA in Dance from SUNY Brockport and her MFA in Theatre Arts – Performance Pedagogy from the University of Pittsburgh. She has trained professionally with Tina Landau, Anne Bogart and the SITI Co., Moisés Kaufman and Leigh Fondakowski and The Tectonic Theater Project, Stephen Wangh, Tim Phillips, Fay Simpson, Joan Evans and William Esper. She is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at SUNY Binghamton
