“Ran” Showing at the Amherst Dipson Theater
Diane Christian and Bruce Jackson will introduce the 1985 Akira Kurosawa film “Ran” as part of the Spring 2016 Buffalo Film Seminars. “Ran” reimagines Shakespeare’s King Lear as a singular historical epic set in sixteenth-century Japan.
