Dr. Devonya Havis and the Department of Comparative Literature will welcome poet, writer, and publisher, Azad Ashim Sharma to give a reading followed by a Q&A on his recently released book, Boiled Owls.
Boiled Owls a collection of poems that demystify drug addiction, alcoholism, depression, and anxiety whilst thinking through their relation to capitalism and its resistance, the family, and a writer’s compulsion to write.
