Digital Humanities
Faculty Coordinators: Sarah Handley-Cousins (History) and Nikolaus Wasmoen (English), with advisory support from Neil Coffee (Classics), Jeff Good (Linguistics)
The Digital Humanities Research Workshop connects a diverse group of faculty and students to discuss innovative, interdisciplinary research. The landscape of humanities research and publication is undergoing a transformation as a result of new technological affordances. Digital tools and methodologies have expanded analytical and creative possibilities, but they are not without their challenges. By featuring monthly research presentations, symposia, and guest speakers, the DHRW provides a forum for generative conversations about this emerging area of interdisciplinary research.
