Making Money Research Workshop: Presentation by Professor Chris Lee followed by discussion of Peter North’s “Money and Liberation”

Chris Lee (Dept of Art) will facilitate a conversation prompted by the readings from Peter North’s “Money and Liberation” in relation to a brief survey of various models of alternative currencies. He will also give an introduction to a related and developing research project called “Immutable: A Mineral History of Currency and Typography,” which he began developing during a fellowship at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam.
