Bronze Age Greece, development of the polis, tyranny, Greek colonization, the Greek historians, ships and seafaring, the Hellenistic Period, early Rome, the late Roman Republic, Sulla, Mithradates VI, Anatolia in the Classical and Hellenistic periods and nautical archaeology.
